New Testament Course - Futures College

The Holy Scriptures are alive and life-giving. This subject takes that life and imparts it into you in a way that you catch vision for the future of the Church. A study of the written Word of God helps shape the understanding of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus and the early writings of the church. 

Different to a traditional survey of the New Testament, this subject lingers on the book of Acts, with the aim to study themes from this book that relate specifically to governance in the church, and church planting through the eyes of the fivefold ministry gifts. 

This subject will introduce the purpose, content, and message of the New Testament books with a particular focus on the historical and cultural implications of their setting, and how this broad diversity of literature presents an incredibly unified and coherent message.
